Kenny is a beloved son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin and friend. He was and always will be loved by everyone.
Kenny was born on June 8, 1986 to proud parents Butch and Karen. Three years later he was joined by sister Julianne and their family was complete. In his earlier years he attended both elementary and middle school in North Babylon, where he grew up. Later he would go on to attend “Saint John the Baptist Diocesan High School” in West Islip. Upon graduating from Saint John’s he continued with his education as a business major at the Sate University of New York at Farmingdale.
In 2005 the family moved to a home in the woods in Smithtown. Here Kenny spent many hours with his father rebuilding this house into a beautiful home for his family. He did a wonderful job with his father’s guidance and they now live in a magnificent home filled with the happy memories of him by their side.
Growing up on Long Island, Kenny enjoyed spending time with both his beloved family and friends, boating, fishing, playing golf, video games, softball and most recently riding his jet ski in the Great South Bay.
Kenny was born an “old soul” and enjoyed the company of both young and old alike during his short but complete life on this earth.
After a brief but courageous battle against a very rare form of Lymphoma, Kenny passed on September 5, 2007. During his illness he never once gave up hope or was angry at anyone for his illness. He was a true example of a brave young man and his legacy lives on in all of us. Sloan Kettering Cancer Institute has documented only 14 cases of the type of Cancer that Kenny acquired.
“We love you kid” and wait for the day that we will all be together once again in heaven. In the meantime Godspeed and continue doing God’s work. We love you.
